Air quality

Air quality has become an area of interest, particularly with the Covid-19 pandemic. As we increasingly move towards indoor settings for growing and producing food, as our schools and senior centres become older and more crowded, air quality becomes a concern. Air plates (settle plates) can provide a simple way of monitoring air quality from large rooms to specific areas.

Surface analysis

The importance of clean surfaces in many settings cannot be underestimated. While debris can be seen on surfaces, microbes cannot. Using swabs or contact plates, microbial contamination of surfaces can be measured, allowing for the evaluation and monitoring of cleaning processes and results-based risk mitigation.

Liquids

From water to hydroponic nutrient solutions, liquids can be tested in a variety of ways depending on what one is looking for. Micro Septics offers membrane filtration for larger volumes of liquids expected to be clean (eg potable water), as well as serial dilutions for liquids that may carry numerous microorganisms.
