While most private well owners in Ontario can have their water tested for free by Public Health Ontario Laboratories, some such as churches, hospices, day cares, greenhouses, barns, agricultural operations, microbreweries and so on, are not eligible and must take their samples elsewhere for analysis.

Using the same method as the Public Health Ontario labs, Micro Septics will test your water, regardless of the source.

Additionally, the sample can be plated on different types of agar to detect other microorganisms.

Liquid samples, no filtration

Various liquids collected in a sterile container, can be plated to measure the microbial content. Several dilutions are plated to allow a more precise determination of higher levels of contamination. This can be very useful in greenhouse settings, food processing, microbreweries, etc. Sample types include irrigation water, hydroponic nutrient water, flume water, rinse water, storage tank liquids, run-off water, water bodies, etc.
